AI Visionaries ProgramStrategy & Governance Master Class

AI Visionaries Program: Strategy & Governance Master Class 2026

This executive-level training program is organized by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA) through its AI Governance Clinic (AIGC) to strengthen the capacity of policymakers in AI governance.

 

Core Program Overview

  • Objective: To provide foundational knowledge and hands-on experience in formulating national AI strategies that balance innovation with risk management.

  • Target Audience: Senior policymakers, government officials, and advisors from the Asia-Pacific region responsible for national AI policy and digital transformation.

  • Methodology: An intensive 5-day workshop featuring expert lectures, facilitated peer learning, case studies, and experiential on-site visits.

     

Key Learning Modules

  • Global Landscape & Ethics: Exploring global AI trends and frameworks, such as the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI.

  • National Readiness: Utilizing multi-dimensional readiness assessment frameworks (e.g., UNESCO RAM) to evaluate national capabilities.

  • Strategy Development: Learning from real-world implementations, such as Thailand’s National AI Plan and AI Singapore 2.0.

  • Emerging Issues: Addressing critical topics like AI Sovereignty, the Future of Work, and AI Inequality.

  • Practical Governance: On-site visits to regulatory bodies (e.g., Bank of Thailand) to observe real-world regulatory use cases.

     

Expected Impact

Participants will conclude the program with a preliminary draft of a national AI strategy or action plan, equipped with policy tools to implement responsible AI governance within their specific national contexts.

Train-the-Trainers

AI Governance Train the Trainer Program 2025

This program is developed by the AI Governance Practice Center (AIGPC) under ETDA to build and expand a network of "Master Trainers" capable of systematically transferring AI governance knowledge to government personnel and stakeholders.

 

Core Program Overview

  • Objective: To develop experts with a deep understanding of AI governance practices who can provide horizontal support and consultancy on AI Toolkits for public sectors nationwide.

  • Target Audience: Representatives from academic institutions, the public and private sectors, and facilitators responsible for designing new AI-aligned work processes.

  • Methodology: A Blended Learning approach combining "Video on Demand" foundational sessions with an intensive 5-day on-site workshop.

Key Learning Modules 

  1. AI Foundation & Capabilities: Understanding the evolution of AI, including the differences between Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Generative AI.

  2. AI Value Creation: Using the "Use Case Canvas" and "Impact x Feasibility Matrix" to design and prioritize AI initiatives within an organizational context.

  3. AI Ethics: Exploring international ethical principles (Transparency, Fairness, Accountability) and analyzing real-world bias cases.

  4. AI Governance: Establishing organizational governance structures, including the "AI Governance Council" and its link to Data Governance.

  5. AI Impact Assessment: Analyzing the effects of AI systems on individuals and society using frameworks like the "Risk Matrix" or "ALTAI".

  6. AI Risk Management: Managing the risk lifecycle (Identify, Assess, Mitigate, Monitor, Review) and creating a preliminary "Risk Register".

     

Expected Impact

Participants will gain both technical governance expertise and the Soft Skills necessary for AI training. This enables them to foster self-regulation mechanisms within their organizations, ensuring AI adoption is responsible, transparent, and legally compliant.

AI Change Agent Program

AI Change Agent Program (AICA) 

The Change Agent Program for Elevating Organizations into the AI Era with Governance, developed by the AI Governance Center (AIGC) under ETDA. This program is specifically designed to prepare leaders for the role of Chief AI Officer (CAIO), enabling them to drive and oversee AI integration within their organizations across all dimensions.

 

Core Program Overview

  • Objective: To enable organizations to achieve strategic business value through AI while maintaining high standards of trust, transparency, and responsibility.

  • Target Audience: Public and private sector personnel ranging from operational staff to middle management, as well as entrepreneurs looking to apply AI in their businesses.

  • Methodology: Intensive lecture-based learning combined with hands-on workshops utilizing professional AI Toolkits.

Key Learning Modules

Course 1: AI Strategy & Transformation

Focuses on strategic planning and change management to drive organizational value.

 

  • Module 1: AI Capabilities & Strategic Value Creation: Exploring the power of AI from Machine Learning to Agentic AI. It covers strategic value creation using the Impact x Feasibility Matrix and the AI Use Case Canvas.

  • Module 2: AI Readiness & Transformation: Assessing organizational readiness through factors such as data, people, and infrastructure. It utilizes the AI Readiness Assessment tool and maturity models.

  • Module 3: From Plan to Practice: Focusing on AI Procurement (Build vs. Buy strategies), developing actionable AI Roadmaps, and AI Job Redesign to optimize human-AI collaboration.

Course 2: Enterprise AI Governance

Focuses on establishing robust governance foundations and systems within the organization.

  • Module 1: Fundamentals of AI & Responsible AI Governance: Managing the AI Lifecycle and aligning Data Governance with AI Governance principles. Includes workshops on hunting for hidden ethical AI principles.

  • Module 2: AI Ethics & Regulations: Studying global standards such as the EU AI Act and international governance case studies. It also provides guidance on drafting internal AI policies.

  • Module 3: Risk Controls & Impact Assessment: Conducting AI Impact Assessments across various dimensions (privacy, security, stakeholders). It covers risk management frameworks like ISO/IEC 23894 and NIST AI RMF.
